![]() ![]() The increase in population and consumption, especially in the process that started with the industrial revolution, has increased the use of natural resources and environmental pollution with a constantly increasing momentum. With the effect of geographical discoveries and revolutions, human beings have also constantly developed and their needs have varied. ![]() Learn'n elixer isn't the greatest, but can be useful.Throughout history, human beings have constantly engaged in activities based on increasing the comfort of life. ![]() Easier access to three of the best buff items in the game could be problematic.Or well, two of them. So it's all the same to me in either case, though it could make acid a bit too easy to get for the recipes that use it. Wasn't even aware they could be scrapped. To be honest I don't think I've ever scrapped a battery.ever. But I take Progje’s point that the acid is rarer and more valuable, while lead is easier to get elsewhere. So a battery could scrap to acid or lead, but not both. An item can only scrap to one thing, based on its material. There’s just one technical hurdle, and it’s with how scrapping works. And both batteries and acid are rare, like Progje says, so it also makes sense for game balance. Acid from a battery definitely makes sense. If something makes sense, even if only on a rudimentary level, I’m cool with it. But it’s a game, so some things are genericized. Like, you can’t actually just add a crucible and transmute iron into steel. Originally posted by Crater Creator:The game takes some liberties with ingredients for the sake of simplicity. it probably won't be an issue but, I haven't progressed enough yet to know one way or other. Since coal can be found in veins underground now. at least for this latest game run I've been doing. probably easier than finding honey back in A16. I've had no trouble getting honey from them every now n then. I'm wondering if it is affected by the Loot percentage you can set in game options though. I know there'll be fewer or more depending what biome your in. Probably would of made more sense for them to be calling this "acid" industrial grade vinegar or something but, it is what it is.Īs for stumps. enough so that you can kill weeds with it. I mean, there are different grades of acid. but, I wouldn't use this other acid 7d2d is having us use EITHER! lol I mean, yeah, I'd never drink or use in food. Everyone has a slightly different point of view. No matter what post you make on any forum anywhere on the Internet, you'll always get what seems like "weird" feedback. Thanks for the somewhat weird feedback,Įh. Sulfuric acid has uses, but they dont necessarily align with the needs at hand. To me it's a bit less about realism, and more about 'usability'. Battery acid is pretty caustic and can burn/melt flesh But the things we make with the 'Acid' in 7DTD are primarily consumable Grandpa's Learn'n Elixer, Grandpa's Moonshine, and recog.I can't quite picture willingly pouring battery acid into my mouth, even diluted into other things as it would be in these cases. If that makes sense.īut I dont think that the kind that is useful would come from a battery. So, In my mind, we only ever take a certain kind of acid from the buildings, whatever kind that may actually be- The kind that is useful for us. It's probably detergents, expired food, exploded and thereby useless cans, and trash like that, kids toys, and so on. That is to say, All of those 'empty' cabinets and containers in houses and buildings have things in them- They're just not things useful to our character. Because there's no way that so very many cabinets and containers inside these cities and buildings are 100% empty. I've always viewed looting as sifting through the 'unusable' things in a buiilding to find what is usable and useful. ![]()
